Arg

I was finally brave enough to weigh in this morning and I wasn't too pleased with the results. 300. Bah. Atleast it was only 4 lbs and I'm not above and beyond my scary starting point.

So, I think I'm going to have to wean myself down to one day of "regular eating". James and I did that the first time we went on weight watchers and it worked out pretty well - Sunday was the day, when we went out to lunch with his sister and her fam (Man, I miss them!) So, no more pizza night (unless it's HEALTHY) *sniffle* It's a sacrifice, but I gotta do it.

Oooh - I should turn it into Salmon night (it's what my Mom does sometimes). I make this YUMMY Salmon. You marinate it in Olive Oil and Soy Sauce (Low Sodium of course) and throw in some herbs (Mom uses Herbs de Provance, but I throw in some Sage, Thyme, and a couple other things that I can't remember ;)

Hmm - I wonder how you calculate the calories with a marinade? (Stupid ww - I keep wanting to say "points")

Heya Kel,

Sorry to hear that your weigh in didn't go exactly how you wanted it to - but at the same time I'm relieved that you didn't end up higher than 300lbs and you're not higher than when you started. I have done that twice, and it is embarassing looking at the sidebar and seeing your current weight higher than your starting weight. Its not a good feeling!

Anyway, good luck with phasing out pizza night, though your salmon night sounds like a very adequate replacement :-D When calculating the calories, I would just add up the total calories you used of the olive oil and soy sauce, and then divide it by the number of portions that you made/ate. Its probably not a perfect way but it'll be close enough I reckon.

I really want to give that salmon a go, thanks for the idea Kel! :-D Cheers!

Don't be upset on the scale. I'm dealing with the same thing but I think it's ok as long as you are still showing total loss and haven't seen your start weight again. Don't give up.

The salmon night sounds like a great idea. You can even go a step further and make the night into something where something low fat and healthy is cooked, something you've never tried before.

As for calculating calories, Marshmallow said it well above. I wonder if recipezaar.com calculates for you. Or if you have a software program for recipes and you can add your own, it probably does that.
