Motivation

May 17th, 1997 - My first "date" with my husband


I was probably around 200 lbs at the time. Those were the days!

I've been feeling the same way, lately- looking at pictures of myself and going what happened to that person (and of course I thought I was overweight then-- ha!)... Good for you for blogging and getting some of the feelings out & being honest. You can do this & I can, too! I'd love to hear what some of your short term goals are. Making really simple easy goals for myself motivates me & keeps the apathy away. P.S. I also struggle with depression & it makes it so hard sometimes. And medicine hasn't helped me at all, but (knock on wood) what's helping right now is exercise. So anyway, I'll be checking back. Wish you well!

HEY! May 17th is a good day!

I had my first date with my hubby on May 17, 1999...Look at that!

(Oh, and to the other--I have yet to decide if old photos are motivation or torture...sometimes I look at them and say, "Hey! I CAN get there again! I WILL get there again! Other times I look at them and want to cry because I went so far...see, can't decide--torture or inspiration. My head's a little wacky like that)...
